LATEST NEWS Jonathan gets sponsored by MBKC to race for them in the King & Ace of Clubs race weekend at Whilton Mill!! Fantastic 2nd place for Jonathan at the Platinum Cup!! A huge congratulations to Jonny Elliott for taking 2nd at the TKM Platinum Cup held at three sisters. It was a thrilling final for spectators with Jonathan and his team manager battling it out for 1st place. Showing some brilliant and clean racing manoeuvres, both drivers were constantly changing position. It was anyones guess who was going to take the chequered flag. On the final lap Jake Coward was just ahead and managed to only just hold off Elliott to take the win, with Jonathan in 2nd. The fastest lap was set by Jonathan in two of the previous heats and the final. Jonathan & the team Finally Choose TKM!! Jonathan and the team have decided to race in the TKM Extreme class for the remainder of 2010 and for the forseeable future! Jonathan has had his first test in a TKM kart and was showing some good pace from the off! Jonathan and the team are looking forward to some successful racing in the TKM class! Jonathan Gets his first Heat win & finishes 7th at the NKRA O Plate Meeting! In one of the biggest and most prestigious race meetings of the year Jonathan finished a fantastic 7th in the NKRA O plate final at Three Sisters, Wigan. Jonathan was on the pace from the word go on the practice day and was constantly setting quick times. On race day Jonathan made light work of the drivers in front during the heats and had a brilliant final to finish 7th! Jonathan moves onto a Tonykart for the O Plate! Jonathan and the team have now taken possession of a Tonykart chassis. This great race chassis will be first used by Jonathan at the O plate race meeting in March. New Painted Arai Helmet for 2010! The new design is very bright and unique and Jonathan is looking forward to putting it to good use in 2010!
Jonathan Secures 3rd In the ChKRC Championship! Jonathan has secured 3rd place in the 2009 Cheshire Kart Club Championship. Jonny secured 3rd place after a fantastic drive in his first wet race meeting! |
