Disaster at MBKC Rd 1

The opening race of the year and the expectations were set a  bit high we think. With no pre season testing and in his 2nd wet meeting ever Jonny was on the back foot from the off. Heat 1 Jonny was DSQ for being 0.5kg underweight, Heat 2 saw Jonnys best performance of the day taking a 2nd place. The final was a different story though moving into 2nd from 3rd at the first corner Jonny then locked the brakes at the hairpin and ran wide onto the grass leaving the door open for the rest of the grid to go past. Once Jonny re-joined the circuit his pace was completley off and this goes to show more testing, specially in the wet is needed.

Jonny Takes 3rd place at the 1st round of the British Rental Kart Championships!

Taking two 2nd places and a 1st in the heats stages, Jonny put it on 3rd place postion for the final. He then drove a fantastic race staying on the bumper of the driver in front but there was no way past and Jonny settled for 3rd place.

TKM Interclub Championship

The final calendar has been produced for the 2012 season! Jonathan will be competing in his own TKM racing machine around the country as well as making a couple of one-off apperances in other championships, such as Club100 and the British Rental Kart Championship.

3rd Place for Jonny at Inkart Rd 5!

After virtually no practice and no indoor racing for a while, Jonny was looking for some good racing and to dust the cobwebs off. With some bad luck in the 3 races, including being wiped out in one, Jonny came back to take 3rd place in the overall standings (actually joint 2nd). Jonny also put in some quick laptimes, fastest being a 25.9, this is very fast as his current race weight is 78kg. The lap record is now 25.5, set by a driver half the weight of Jonny!

The British Super 1 championship around the corner!

Jonathan and the team are making the long trip to Buckmore Park in London next weekend (1st,2nd,3rd) of October for the final round of the British Super 1 Championships.This will be Jonny's first ever experience of Super 1 level racing so the aim for the weekend is Just to gain as much experience as possible.

Another podium finish for Jonathan at round 9 of the MBKC championships at Three Sisters!!

Fantastic 2nd place for Jonathan at the Platinum Cup!!

A huge congratulations to Jonny Elliott for taking 2nd at the TKM Platinum Cup held at three sisters. It was a thrilling final for spectators with Jonathan and his team manager battling it out for 1st place. Showing some brilliant and clean racing manoeuvres, both drivers were constantly changing position. It was anyones guess who was going to take the chequered flag. On the final lap Jake Coward was just ahead and managed to only just hold off Elliott to take the win, with Jonathan in 2nd. The fastest lap was set by Jonathan in two of the previous heats and the final.
